ISO/IEC 42005 is the companion to ISO/IEC 42001: where 42001 specifies the AI management system, 42005 sets out how to identify, evaluate, and document an AI system's potential effects on individuals, groups, and society. It is guidance rather than a certifiable requirements standard, and it maps well onto the impact-assessment duties found in the EU AI Act and similar regimes.
